Ricky Fleming
Echte naam: Patrick Feustel
Geboortedatum: 6 april 1960.

RICKY FLEMING werd als Patrick Feustel geboren in 1960 onder het sterrenteken Ram. Vanaf zijn dertiende nam hij reeds klassiek pianoles en hij studeerde muziek gelijklopend met zijn studie’s als Accountant. Ricky is perfect 4-talig en dit zou hem later nog dikwijls van pas komen.

Hij begon zijn zangcarrière als allereerste Belg in de soundmixshow van Henny Huisman in Nederland, en won zowat alle bekende zangwedstrijden. Als pianist/orgelist werd hij 4 keer Benelux Kampioen.

In 1988 nam hij met de Limburgse ploeg deel aan de BRT-Baccarabeker en trad op in de Nederlandse showprogramma’s met Frank Massemeijer bij de N.C.R.V. Tevens verzorgde hij samen met Dana Winner en Sabien Tiels de “Springplankshow”, een toernee langs 9 culturele centra.

Na in zowat elk muziekprogramma opgetreden te hebben gaat hij in 1989 in op een voorstel om internationaal te werken, en terwijl hij meermaals bij ons op T.V. verschijnt werkt hij mee voor RAI UNO (Italiaanse T.V-zender) aan tal van shows samen met Loretta Goggi en Toto Cutugno.Later maakt hij met z’n Engelstalig repertoire een tournee langs de Italiaanse Riviera. Als Ricky Fleming en Exception verzorgt hij met z’n eigen band meermaals het voorprogramma van o.a. Soulsister, Sandra Kim en vele anderen.

Met z’n Vlaamstalig repertoire proeft hij mee van het succes van de VTM-Boom met “Tien om te zien” en andere T.V.-programma’s.

In 1991 doorkruist hij Spanje met een internationale show in de casino’s der grootsteden samen met “Amina” en Spanjes nummer één “Sergio Dalma”. Heel de “Grand Palace”-keten valt voor Ricky’s internationale repertoire.

In 1992 en 1993 treed hij tijdens de zomermaanden op met het orkest van Lou Roman in “Het Witte Paard” te Blankenberge, waar zijn kunnen als entertainer volledig tot zijn recht komt. Choreografie, sketsches en presentatie, alles is hij machtig. Tevens nam hij deel in 1993 aan Eurosong met “Helemaal” wat hem in Vlaanderen ontzettend populair maakte.

1994, 1995 en 1996 waren gevuld met heel wat personages die hij vertolkte in diverse T.V.-reeksen zoals Editie, De Man, Ons Geluk, Familie,Wittekerke, Lilly en Marleen, Bompa Lawijt …

Afwisselend pendelde hij tussen Spanje en België, om met het Metropool orkest (Big Band) en Henk Van Montfoort op te treden. Reeds snel kwam hij in het circuit terecht van de namiddagshows voor busreizen. Daar hij zo’n brede waaier bezit van typpetjes en ambiance muziek, krijgt hij de zalen op z’n hand.

Sedert 1997 treedt hij dagelijks op in de shows van Bobbejaanland, waar hij zijn kunnen ten volle geeft. Dans, zang en presentatie maken hem meer dan waardig. In 1999 was hij de blikvanger van Eurosong met z’n liedje “Door jou”. In diverse T.V.-shows schitterde hij zoals“Herexamen”, “De Notenclub”, “Het swingpaleis” enz ...

Ricky is enorm veelzijdig, naast zijn zangcarrière en zijn acteerprestaties is hij een gewaardeerd studiozanger. Hij zingt commercials in en doet ook voor vele artiesten backing vocals (samen met o;a; Linda Williams, Mieke Aerts en Danny Caen).

Regelmatig treedt hij op tijdens diner-chantants, waar zijn uitgebreid repertoire bij iedereen erg “ in de smaak valt”.

Ricky is een ras-artiest met een degelijke opleiding en de nodige spontaniteit om hem sympathiek en eenvoudig zoals hij is voor eender welke opdracht te kontakteren.
Van backing-vocal tot musical-star, van presentator tot entertainer, van choregraaf tot muziek– en tekstschrijver alsook akteur, Ricky Fleming zal U zeker en vast niet ontgoochelen!!!

RICKY FLEMING was born in 1960 when Patrick Feustel under the star sign Aries. From his thirteenth he already took classical piano lessons and studied music with similar studies such as his accountant. Ricky is the perfect 4-lingual and it would often be useful later.

He began his singing career as the first Belgian in Soundmixshow Henny Huisman of the Netherlands, and won almost all major singing competitions. As a pianist / orgelist he Benelux Champion 4 times.
